This month, I was really feeling chip beads! I laid the amethyst, labradorite, and tanzanite next to each other, and my brain was like “YES!” I also snuck in 3 very special artisan lampwork beads I’ve been hoarding. I tried to place them where they’ll blend easily but make for a fun treasure hunt.
Ya’ll know I love a good versatile piece. I decided to make this long enough to be a gorgeous
necklace, but also long enough to be a fabulous wrap bracelet. I did some math and came up with my perfect number of 32.” This size will fit a lot of wrist sizes. You can also wrap around the strands to create a tighter fit.
This necklace is strung on nylon coated sterling plated beading wire and finished in sterling silver with a really strong magnetic clasp. Oh, boy. That was interesting to try to crimp! Did you know that jewelry pliers are magnetic? I did, but for some reason I didn’t anticipate issues when I picked these up. I was able to figure it out though!
As stated earlier, this necklace is 32” long. It’s perfect for layering, wrapping around your neck a couple times as a choker or as a wrap bracelet. The magnetic clasp makes it much easier for those that struggle with clasps like me.
