It started with the carved red jasper rose. I laid this necklace out months ago in preparation for this show. It’s been waiting for me to come back to it, and I’m just as much in love with it now as the day I laid it out. The carved red jasper is 41mm. I paired it with 8mm gray/green and gold flecked czech glass, 8mm african bloodstone rounds, 8mm Tibetan agate rounds, and 6mm sunstone rondelles. The necklace is strung and hand-knotted on a lustrous gray silk cord. It is approximately 34” long with no clasp. It will slip right over your head. The pendant hangs down 1 ⅝”.
