These amazingly gorgeous 6x10mm, flashy labradorite rondelles were the inspiration for this piece. I paired them with some fabulous ocean jasper as the center focal that range in size from 14-18mm. The bulk of the necklace is the most gorgeous ancient glass trade beads. They originate from Nigera, but they were probably made by the dutch between the 1600s-1800s. It almost killed me to part with them, but they were too perfect not to use!
To taper down the necklace, I used 1.5x6mm moonstone heishi, 1.5x4mm labradorite heishi, 3mm blue tourmaline faceted rounds, and 3mm round sterling silver beads.
The necklace is finished in sterling silver with a handcrafted hook clasp and adjustable chain. Hanging from the chain are more of the gorgeous labradorite heishi.
This necklace is adjustable from 20.5”-22”.
