Little, 7mm, ‘fire painted’ crescent moons are the star of these earrings. Sometimes I like to fire paint them on a gas stove. Sometimes I like to use a lighter. Sometimes I like to use a torch. But no matter how I flame paint them, I get the most gorgeous results every time!
I complimented the moons with 2.5mm, dark blue, faceted sapphires and 5.7mm translucent gold-frosted, pink, czech glass briolettes. The earrings are constructed with oxidized copper wire. Please note that I took these in natural light, so they are appearing a bit brighter than they do indoors. The sapphires are a very dark blue.
The earwires are 20 gauge sterling silver.
Each earring is approximately 2.5” long and weighs 1.68g.
