These earrings were inspired by the painting Girl with a Pearl earring by Johannes Vermeer. I decided I definitely wanted to include the 8mm freshwater pearls as a nod to the original earrings, but I decided to also pull the colors from the rest of the painting into the earrings. I did this with the fabulous ocean jasper components and the most gorgeous rough sapphires.
These earrings are
sterling silver with 20 gauge earwires.
