People like to say that living a city is sad because you can’t really see the stars, but I disagree. Laying on my roof, I can see the stars faintly. But my favorite thing is the way the nighttime clouds look lit up by city lights. They have a mysterious shadowy look about them like these 15mm freshwater pearl diamonds - wrapped on my handcrafted headpins. Behind these magnificent shadowy clouds, you can see
the darkness of the night sky, complete with little star flashes which I think are perfectly represented with the 8mm faceted black spinel.
