One would be remiss to celebrate the Earth without celebrating Earth’s waters and all they hold. It brings me great joy designing necklaces with special artisan focals. This mother and calf whale focal was so beautiful to me. I created a ‘waterspout’ bail for it with 15/0 gold seed beads, 11/0 clear seed beads, 2mm mixed moonstone faceted rounds, and sparkling faceted aquamarine rondelles. The inspiration for this piece was really how gorgeous the faceted Kunzite stones looked with the whale pendant. It is almost an etherial, angelic, vibe to me. In addition to the Kunzite, I used AA faceted aquamarine rondelles, white moonstone briolettes and rondelles, 15/0 gold seed beads, and 3mm purple czs.
This necklace is finished in sterling silver with a twisted toggle clasp. It is 17.5” long. I am able to add length upon request.
