I’ve had this necklace laid out just waiting for the perfect focal to cross my desk. I bought this carved pyrite dragon focal to hoard, if we’re being honest. But I made the mistake of laying it next to this necklace. You know in a movie where you see what’s going on, but the main character takes a long time to realize it? Like they drop an important floppy disk in between their desk and the wall, and six months later when someone is cleaning out the classroom, suddenly they have the spell to restore Angel’s soul? You and I knew it was there the whole time. Did Buffy? Nah, probably could have saved a lot of people. Anyone know what I’m talking about? ANYWAY, so I really like how this carved pyrite dragon focal looks with the cool cut cubes in this necklace. I used four different stone cubes in this necklace: cacoxenite, carnelian, aventurine, and tiger eye. They range from 6-8mm. What I love about each one of these beads is that they’re all unique. They all might have slight color variation, different striping, different inclusions. The necklace looks so uniform, but when you look closer, it has so much character. The necklace is hand knotted on a deep red silk cord. This necklace is just about 36” long. It does not have a clasp and will easily slip over your head. The focal hangs down 2 ⅛”.
