For these earrings, I really wanted to play with patina. The patina on the copper moon phase charms was achieved in a tupperware on my counter over the course of three days. The patina has been dried and sealed. I struggled a bit with finding something that could stand up to the gorgeousness of the patina I achieved. So naturally, I had to reach for other incredible things. The 20 gauge sterling silver earwires are adorned with Herkimer quartz diamonds. Dangling from the moons are 7.5mm flashy labradorite briolettes and more Herkimer quartz diamonds.
