I’ve been saving these incredible artisan headpins for a long time. When brainstorming for this show, I thought about a sunrise, and these were an almost perfect representation of it. I decided to make them into some pretty little hoops and accented them with other colors you may see in a sunrise. The hoops are wrapped with sterling silver wire and 2mm pink and green faceted tourmaline. Hanging from above are some soft purple amethyst briolettes that I have also been saving for the perfect time. These earrings are sterling silver (except for the steel headpin) with my 20 gauge handcrafted earwires. Each earring is 3” long and weighs 3.68 grams.
